Olney Women's Republican ClubOUR CLUB:The Olney Women's Republican Club has been a Republican presence in Olney since 1960. Our members include women from the northern Silver Spring, Olney, Sandy Spring, Brookeville, Burtonsville and surrounding area. Our mission is to develop an informed, active and effective membership capable of encouraging the growth of Republican ideals throughout the community. We accomplish this by focusing on education, participation, commitment and member development.
We welcome registered Republicans who wish to participate in the political process and learn more about the candidates and issues at the local, state and national levels. Demonstrating our club motto, “Building a Republican Future,” you will see us at parades, festivals, voter registration tables, petition-signing events, rallies in Annapolis, and working at the polls or for candidates - wherever we can make a difference. We also volunteer for or contribute to such endeavors as the Fisher House, Montgomery Hospice, Wounded Warriors and Military Veterans of the DC area, Mamie Eisenhower Library Project and others. OWRC MAY EVENTs:
May 5, 2012: Kentucky Derby Celebration
May 24: OWRC Annual Meeting
