Please join us this Thursday, May 23rd between 3:30 and 5:30 PM at the lovely Clarksburg Tavern. Come and Be Happy at Happy Hour at the Tavern, 23315 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, Md, 20871. Come meet our newest members (regular and associates) as we recognize them for stepping up to the plate at this important time in our nation.  Come gather and enjoy camaraderie at 3:30. We will meet out back on their spacious Patio and start our Meeting at 4:00. Rural will provide some appetizers. (The Patio will be ours exclusively from 4-5:00, but know that we may have other diners out there after 5:00.) Our Speakers this month will be some of our newer members, sharing from their lives and what they are hoping to create with us. We want you there! We are passionate leaders, bringing sanity and action to an insane world. Our Rural Annual Picnic will be on Monday June 10th, again at the lovely home of Pat and Nelson Tyler in Dickerson.  We will arrive at 5:30 and eat at 6:00 pm.  Please get this on your calendar as this is a great event that we look forward to every year. We hope to be honoring our scholarship recipient at this event. Our hosts have graciously  offered to provide fried chicken and barbeque.  Please bring either a side dish or a dessert to share.
