Montgomery County Federation of Republican Women (MCFRW)

Welcome to The Montgomery County Federation of Republican Women (MCFRW)’s website page. MCFRW was founded in 1922 and serves as the regional representative to the Maryland Federation of Republican Women for the four very active clubs in Montgomery County — Chevy Chase, Potomac, Rural and Upper Montgomery. Your membership in any of these clubs automatically includes membership in the Maryland Federation of Republican Women (MFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) at no additional cost.

As part of my vision, I see our board partnering to bring women together, not only through the work they do with their respective clubs, but in working with other clubs as well. Over 400 of MCFRW members bring a breadth of experience from many areas including, but not limited to: volunteering in their communities; working in the private sector; serving in government; as Congressional staff and as political appointees in Presidential Administrations. Wherever or whatever a club member may be doing, it is an opportunity to be the face of and positively demonstrate why they “are a Republican.”

To further this vision during 2026-2027, we will:

  • Partner with the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership for strategic political leadership training for our candidates and our members;
  • Encourage voter registration and participation in the election process through Get Out the Vote training and other activities;
  • Provide training on Numinar, the Republican database of voter information that can be a source for new club members and greatly increase the efficiency of phone banking and door knocking;
  • Work to recruit, support, and elect Republican candidates;
  • Educate members and the public about political issues at the county, state and federal level;
  • Expand our engagement in community outreach programs through our Caring for America, Back the Blue and Ameicanism activities; and
  • Sponsor special projects, such as our Patriots Writing Postcards, sending positive messages of support to President Trump.

Please take a moment to review the “I am a Republican because…” section of our Directory. Consider joining one of our clubs and help us carry the torch forward to “Make America Great Again.”

In Freedom,

Sandy Tuttle
President
Montgomery County Federation of Republican Women
