Legislative Action
The Montgomery County Federation of Republican Women (MCFRW) plays an active role in shaping public policy at the state level. Through our Legislative Action Committee, we monitor bills introduced in the Maryland General Assembly and advocate for legislation that reflects our organization’s principles and priorities.
We regularly testify before the Maryland General Assembly, sharing clear, thoughtful positions on proposed laws that affect our communities, families, and small businesses. Our members work closely with elected officials, submit written statements, and speak at hearings to ensure that our voices—and the voices of Montgomery County Republicans—are heard in Annapolis.
In addition to testimony, we:
- Track and analyze bills to inform members about key issues.
- Coordinate with other Republican Women’s groups across Maryland to present a united message.
- Mobilize grassroots support through alerts, letter-writing, and outreach to legislators.
By engaging directly with lawmakers, MCFRW helps influence legislation and promote sound public policy. Our efforts ensure that Republican women are represented in every stage of Maryland’s legislative process.
